Born and raised in Trikala, Greece, Costas Krommydas is a graduate of the National Theatre of Greece. He has attended numerous acting and dance seminars, including four years of seminars with Andreas Manolidakis based on the Actors Studio method. He performed with the Chorica Dance Theatre Company of Zouzou Nicoloudi for two years. He has acted in many TV series, theatre plays and films.

Between 2010 and 2012, he was a principal rapporteur for the information days on “Educating Children and Parents on Healthy Living” held by the Prolepsis Institute.

His first book, “Raise me, dad”, a parenting book, appeared in 2012. This was followed by his first novel, “An Absent Life”, in 2013, voted one of the ten most moving books of the year. His second novel, “Ogressa”, was published by Dioptra Publications in June 2014 and voted one of the top ten books of 2014 in the category “most erotic character”. That same year, Costas received the WISH writer’s award in Volos, presented to him by popular Greek author Alkyoni Papadaki. His third novel, “Forget Me Not”, appeared in May 2015. His 4th novel, “Ouranoessa” appeared in May 2016.

He teaches acting at the Theatre of Changes and the Arman Musical Theatre Center. Between 2013 and 2014 he taught public speaking at the Antenna school of journalism. He hosts a daily radio show at Love Radio 97.5 and writes for He has also written articles for the popular parenting magazine “paidi kai neoi goneis” and the newspaper “Real News”.
